Volunteer Opportunities within our community

  • If you have a desire to help pick up and deliver groceries for people that are vulnerable, at risk or frightened please email: outreach@visitgracechurch.com

  • Here is a great activity to do as a family to be outward-focused together! There have been a few nursing homes and assisted living facilities that have reached out who could use something to brighten their day. Kids AND adults alike can write an encouraging letter or draw a picture, then take a digital picture of letter/drawing or scan it and email it to kclark@visitgracechurch.com. We will put all of them together and email them to different homes we have been in contact with to share with their residents!

  • We have had a few healthcare facilities requesting face masks for personal protection as they experience shortages. If you have the ability to sew, check out this tutorial HERE. After completing the face masks you can contact outreach@visitgracechurch.com for drop off instructions. Additionally, you can contact your local fabric store, as many of them are donating material for the masks.

  • Will you consider doing your part to continue to support small & local businesses? Patronize local restaurants or purchase a gift card.

  • If you benefit from the CARES Act but your employment has not been affected, consider the following options:

    • Find someone who has been affected and give them some or all of your stimulus rebate.

    • If you were patronizing a small business that was shut down, and they haven’t reached out to you, reach out to them and offer to buy products or gift cards from them.

    • As part of the CARES Act - people can give up to $300 in cash contributions which can be treated as an above the line deduction against income, even if they don't itemize in 2020.
